Facial recognition enables businesses to verify the identity of individuals by analysing unique facial features, significantly reducing the risk of impersonation or fraud. Adding AI liveness detection ensures that the person presenting their face for verification is indeed physically present and not a spoofed image or video, adding an extra layer of security.

The ROC SDK complied with level 2 of the Presentation Attack Detection standard in recent tests conducted by iBeta Quality Assurance. The test method was to apply bona fide biometric presentations of an individual that alternated with artefact, or fake, presentations to assess whether the SDK was able to tell the difference. The results asserts our ability to reliably detect and prevent sophisticated spoofing attempts, enhancing security measures against identity theft and unauthorised access.
